Franse studie bevestigt dat gsm/smartphone-gebruik hersentumoren kan veroorzaken. Het risico is al verhoogd vanaf een half uur gsm-gebruik per dag.
De vraag is ook wat dit zegt over tablet-gebruik, daar tablets gelijkaardige of hogere stralingsniveaus veroorzaken dan wanneer men belt met de gsm/smartphone. Bovendien is de blootstelling veel langduriger.
